Apple is doing everything it can to beat its biggest competitor in the streaming battle: Disney+.
No it isn’t.
This not a content contest yet and there will be many winners and few losers. Except customers who may end up spending more on streaming than on cable TV.
Companies like Amazon and networks like CBS have already joined the streaming world with their own subscription services, but their new biggest competition is about to launch in November 2019
Disney+ not Apple+
Apple will be a bit player for a few years; Apple TV+ is priced lower, but also a giveaway to a few hundred million Apple customers in the first year. Apple does not have the breadth and depth of Disney content.
