Guess who introduced a new smartphone last week? Uh huh. That Microsoft. Jessica Dolcourt with the analysis:
Microsoft is making its first phone in years, but we don’t know exactly what kind of phone it is. Here’s everything we know and don’t about the dual-screen device.
I think about all anyone knows– even at Microsoft– is that it runs Android and has dual screens. Oh, and it won’t be available until the end of 2020.
The beauty of announcing a device that won’t launch for a year is that you don’t have to toss out the specs list or inner workings for the wolves to tear apart. You can build excitement first.
Hey didn’t Apple do that with the original iPhone? If all you know is that it runs Android, has dual screens, and arrives– maybe– next year, then there should be more than eight things we don’t know yet.
